In 2023, Thai restaurant Tasty Thai found themselves under false accusations of raising dogs to be eaten. Harassments exceeded, accusations went viral and as a result, the restaurant was forced to close. In order to shed the awful, racist stereotypes, the Tasty Thai's owners were in search of a new location and a fresh rebrand.
Together, with owners: David and Anna Rasavong, we crafted Love & Thai. A kitchen deeply rooted in community, Love & Thai was created as an environment where every visit feels like returning to family, where the bond of love is celebrated, and every meal is an opportunity to spread joy.
Thanks in large part as well to interior designer Danny Gonzalez, The Lao and Thai Kitchen in Fresno, California stands as a charming eatery that brings an authentic, traditional and fresh dining experience, embodying love and warmth through every bite.
